No music on A2DP stereo headset from SGS2

I cannot find a way to get my Sony Ericsson MW600 (fully A2DP compliant) BT stereo headset to work with the SGS2 music player. All other system sounds, telephone, voice commands etc are working fine on the MW600. The BT to my car works fine for phone use also.

The Bluetooth settings menu says that the MW600 is "Connected to phone audio". Under profiles for the MW600 pairing it does have options: Phone: "Connected to phone audio" and also Media: "Use for media audio". The BT will not connect if only the media audio connection is selected.

The whole point of the MW600 is for hearing quality music playback, but for all BT settings I tried, the music just comes through the phone speaker, and not through the MW600.

Any ideas? Does A2DP work on other Droid 2.2/2.3 phones for music, (how about SGS Galaxy1) - should do, or it is a serious bug.

Thanks, Julian

I have the Sony MW600 and it works fine with my SGS2 , the music plays and the song title shows on the display and i can change tracks, pause ect.

I did not do use special settings , just went in the SGS2 settings and turn on blue-tooth then make device visible , and then i just scanned for the MW600

You have to watch out for fake MW600 players.
