Yea well good thing they fixed all that but the phone just looks ugly with out the lil bright green guy on the stock contact photo

What's the deal with that little green guy any ways? I swear the other day I saw him upside-down in a certain contact. I shook my head and looked again and he was right-side-up, but as a mirror image so he was coming from the left-side of the box instead of the right. Then the rest of the time I looked at the contact he stayed in the same spot. I dunno - maybe I'm losing it.

So far so good with the update! My network GPS places me within 50ft of my correct location (the most accurate it has ever been), there are no green lined shooting through my screen, and the phone as a whole reacts better than ever (part of that could be due to not installing Flexilis this time). Yeah, the update got rid of the green android, but so did Zefies version of CL14... it was gonna happen either way.

Sadly I have lost many many many of my apps since MyBackup Pro failed to do its job, and that dragon app-lister thing FCed on me constantly without a single successful use. But on the plus side, if I can't remember an app then it probably wasn't worth having (except for the old version of Locale!!!)

My battery life is now amazing. I pulled it off the charger around 9-10am yesterday before getting the update at noon. Then after setting up my phone, testing it out, making several phone calls and installing several apps, the battery lasted until a little after 2:00pm today (when it gave me the 'critical' battery level warning) and I placed it back on the charger. That's about 28-29hrs with moderate use! It's the best it has ever been.:D

I'm debating whether or not to begin using open home again since I bought it just a couple days after I bought the phone. I think I'll give it a shot and see how it works with the new upgrade:)

My only real complaint about the update is that now my proximity sensor works even worse than it did before. I can have the sensor flat against my ear and tell that the screen is on. I can adjust it all I want but it doesn't make a difference. I have to pull the phone away from my face and then put it back up to my ear again for it to turn the screen off (sometimes it takes more than one try).
Anyone else having proximity sensor issues?

Mine does this every once in awhile. For me it all depends on how quickly I answer my phone. If I answer, then wait a second, then hold it up to my ear I have no problems. It may also depend on what your phone is doing in the background at the time...NewsRob synching, weather updating...etc...that probably slows down the sensor a bit. I'm sure that when we eventually get 2.1, it will help with this since the software supposedly runs more efficiently.

That might be why they removed him. He looked suspicious to me anyways :p
