Root Please help!!! Dont know what to do!!!

Okay. So my phone is rooted and i downloaded ROM manager. I heard about how it bricks phones but it was 5 stars in the android market so i download it anyway. Then i pressed the wrong stuff and when i restarted my phone is wont go past the black and white LG screen. I really don't know what to do and I'm panicking. Can this be fixed or do i need to buy a new phone?

Yeahh. Those damn stars!!! Anyway joneidy said it was totally bricked so I just went to metro and said that I was updating it (Joneidy told me to say that too) and they replaced it for $10.66. Customer service at its best

your phone got bricked due to the fact that ROM MANAGER is the UI for CLOCKWORKMOD..which is not available to the Optimus M..so when you try to command the phone to do something clockwork-related,it freaks out like it just got bit by a rabid dog,lol..i did the same thing..except there wasnt anyone to advise me to say i was trying to update it and it f'ed up..so i had to use my insurance...bummer..
