starting the complaints...

I figured since some of us have had the phone for longer than a few days we can start being brats and knit pick. But I want to say that I actually love this phone more than my mother but there has been one thing I've noticed is missing. Some of the camera setting features are gone or placed somewhere else. The main and almost only thing I've been annoyed with is the no option to delete, share, rotate, or edit (in any way) a photo in full:thinking: view. If im an ass and am missing something I apologize but that's it. Done and done :)

I dont have the sensation but im running sense 3.0 on my thunderbolt. When im viewing a pic in fullscreen mode I can tap it to bring tabs up at the bottom. There are about 5 but I know one is to share and another is to delete the pic. Another tab is effects. Rotate left + rotate right are under effects, along with cropping, etc. Hope this helps.

Well the gallery and its settings are the same on the mytouch 4g...you'll get used to it, the options are there just not when pic is full screen and they are there if you review the pic full screen with in the camera app. As far as speed it is no faster than the mytouch either, but it is running twice the features so I think it evens out in the long run. Its not slow by any means but not as fast as I thought it might be.

I've had a few bugs, but I love the phone enough to look past them for now.

Random reboot. Has happened about three times in two days.

Battery inconsistencies. Seems to be amazing right off the charger but at various points it seems to run down at a faster rate. I've read that this phone performs great in this department but as of now I'm not sure about those claims.

Sense Reboots. Every once in a while, when going back to the home screen, Sense appears to reboot (white "HTC screen").

You're running sense 3 on tbolt??? Thought HTC made some excuse that they weren't releasing it on tbolt because it wasn't dual core and couldn't handle it. I'm assuming you are rooted and found some sense 3 rom??

Is it just me or is the sensation slower than the Desire? I had the Desire on tmobile but now have the sensation on Vodafone, its so much slower i have sent it back to be replaced for a new one.

To me, it seems like the Sensation runs at a slower frame rate, for both Flash video, and via my DishNetwk adapter, than my previous G2x. It's almost like watching on my Motor Defy. Just got it today...will see if I can optimze some of the settings to improve performance.

Not a lot of complaints actually. I just moved to the sensation 4g from the venerable nexus one. My hesitation is that I prefer stock Android... however in the last ywar I go hooked on launcher pro, which works great on the sensation....so sense launcher is nicely pushed out of the way. I was able to replace that crappy gallery with Gallery HD, which perfectly mimics the cool gallery on the nexus one. I was also able to replace the nexus one car mode with one from the market that works fine...

The last remaining issue I have is with sense based apps, like the contact manager, being nearly impossible to replace. My main issue with it, and all sense based nonesense, is that it is seemingly impossible to change the font size. 10pt font on that large screen makes for awkward squinting. Does anyone know of a way to change the font size on sense apps globally?

I went to tmobile today to play with the sensation 4g, and I will say it is built like a champ, t actually reminds me of the nexus one, felt great in the hand, very slim, rounded edges, I was very impressed. As far as Sense 3.0, pretty cool, like the carousel effect, subtle small changes, but looks a bit cleaner. I was not that impressed with the 4g speeds though, I was in Delray Beach FL, not sure how the 4g is in that area. Overall, if I had tmobile, I would get this phone, no question, but awaiting my evo 3d friday, but I figure they have to be pretty similar

anyone has a problem with the battery drains out fast ? I heard a couple of my friends complaint about the battery, otherwise, I would going to buy the phone.

As with all my other smart phone's OEM/third party batteries, run time improved after a free complete charge/discharge cycles. I'm getting about a day w/my normal use...was getting 2 days w/my Defy.

FWOW, I live in an area where my signal is good (-55dBm to -72dBm). However at work, where signal is weak, will be a different story.

anyone having issues with shortcut icons on the home screen? most of the apps i have downloaded and moved to the home screen icons changes everytime i restart the phone. for example, i would move angry birds to the home screen. the icon is the angry birds icon, once i restart the phone, the icon changes to the android icon(similiar to the market icon)
