Just to add to my preferences of adw over LP..... size..... (you can tell I'm not a chick) .... LP is using 5.85, adw ex is 2.14 and stock cm adw 684 KB. Granted that will be a little larger now that they've added transition effects but it'll still be smaller than ex.

That would equate to a faster phone, wouldn't it?

It does seem to me that when I try each one that ADW EX is a little faster and smoother than LP and CM's stock ADW is a little faster than EX. It makes sense to me too that the smaller one would probably be a little faster and also leave more app space open as well. Same with the Theme Chooser themes which I thought about after doing a few of them. It's nice that it makes it easy to change the theme fast like that and change it back to stock or something completely different with just a click and reboot... But each theme is a separate apk that takes up app space.. Some of them are 3 or more MB as well... It's not so bad on the newer phones that have more memory but we don't have a lot of space to work with on the Eris..

I agree on Doogald, CS, and most everyone else here. I'm in so far over my head with 99.7% of this stuff that I aught to be ashamed to ask for help when i hose it up....but i just can't go back to "plain"

You should never be ashamed to ask for help... And if anyone makes you feel that way they should be ashamed for their response... Just my opinion though

There will be a V11... sometime this week anyway... just working on straightening a few things out and getting it on a new nightly

I think in V11 I'm going to include gapps this time... still debating it but leaning towards it.

sounds awesome. Especially since its taking you time I bet its gonna be great, gapps in it would be cool too but no biggie if not, it sounds like it would be complicated to even try to add it in.

It won't be hard to add them I think I'm going to... at least the main ones like market, voice, car home and the jar files and libs anyway. No books or anything like that though.

I'm about to update my rom from 7 to 10. Should I wait a day or 2 for v11? and should I get the normal v10 or v10 stripped to hell? I only use my phone for texting, email, facebook, and games.

10 is great and not sure how many more days until 11 is out and I would go for the stripped version. I use it and its great, saves me time deleting things I dont use.

I meant to do that lol. Thanks for reminding me, it's no bother at all. Is it the status bar or the pull down? I haven't used it since before I started this ROM because I got so busy and forgot I still had some things I wanted to fix in it

The Eris forums have been pretty dead lately. Wonder if everybody moved on to other phones.
