Definitely Within, but I am going to use the 3vo until my 30 days are up and return it and get the Within. Also, I was eyeing the Nexus 3, but this destroyed my hopes and dreams. :(

Yes to everything, but no Tegra 3 and NO BUTTONS!! I hate the idea, I think its disgusting. It was hard enough going from hardware buttons to capacitive, (think I misspelled that) but now no buttons!?!? This better not become standard.

Be careful. Your plan is foiled if the Within isn't released within 30 days of the 3VO.

Guys, check out the BGR site for the supposed specs on the Nexus 3

Exclusive: Google Nexus 4G detailed - 720p display, 4G LTE, Android 4.0

Nexus S 4G? That's the Sprint version of the Nexus S.

If the Nexus 3 isn't dumbed down like the Nexus S is with no 720p (I'd expect 1080p on the 3), no microSD support, no notification light, and no dedicated camera button, I'm passing it up even for my 2012 upgrade. Who knows what else Sprint will have in store for us then, though.

e3d all the way. HTC has been very good to me since I dumped samsung. I'm counting on the relationship to continue." ovrrdrive
Yes, this says it for me. My experience with the HTC has been nothing but positive. Last night mine did lock up. Couldn't get it to do anything. First time that has happened. I think it might have something to do with updating aps while using Easytether and listening to LastFM. Just to much for a single core. I guess. I turned it off and turned it on and everything was fine. I remember the old Windows 95 days and things like this always can give me heartburn. Not with this phone.

The 3VO has nothing on the Within.

What, other than actually existing, you mean? :D (Just teasing.....)

Seriously, there are a few concrete upsides if you compare the EVO 3D against the SGS2, off the top of my head:
- higher resolution (yes, that matters to me)
- autostereoscopic display (fun party trick, arguably important to some)
- not a Samsung device (as a Moment owner, I recognize the painful importance of this)
- Sense 3.0 (I'm personally ambivalent, but if you stick with stock launchers, I'd pick Sense over TouchWiz)

Not that the SGS2 isn't a great phone -- if it were released today I'm not entirely sure which one I'd pick -- but I believe speaking in absolutes is unwarranted in this case.

I'll take SAMOLED+ over a qHD TFT anyday.
HTC needs to allow for more social networking services to integrate with their Friend Stream, and have toggles in the drop down menu like TouchWiz does. Sense is too heavy of an overlay for my tatses, since it changes more from stock Android than TouchWiz does.
Also, this whole 3D business is merely a gimmick.
