Help Battery life

Hey just curious how eveveryone's battery life is? I heard it was pretty good in the UK version but they aren't running on the "4g" networks we are here. GF complained that it was pretty bad.

Its alright. Ive had my on since 7AM streaming slacker radio untill 11AM and i have 70%.. so far so good. I need to try turning off 4G and i bet ill get a lot more.

Given how much I've been playing around with it the first few days, it's surprisingly good. Going from the MT4G which was damn decent, to the G2x which was the worst I've ever had, back to the MT4G, better than the first one, and onto this it's better than the G2x, and not as good as the MT4G all under similar circumstances.

I was using Pulse and the music app for my whole 1.45 hour commute this morning, and it didn't drop below 75%. When I got to work, I screwed around with it for a good half hour before I got any real work done. From there I was just checking email, 2 Facebook updates, and a few market downloads before lunch. It wasn't till I got back from a conference call at 2:30 that I plugged it in because the battery was at 20%. I had it on the charger for about 30 minutes, that got it back to 70%. After commuting home, again flipping through Pulse and an entire Black Angels album, (Phosphene Dream is the shit BTW) (2) 10 minute phone calls and a handful of text messages, it's barely at 50% now at 9:45pm. The true test will come tomorrow since I have to go to the Met game after work. Can't plug it in after I leave work so if it's not 100% when I leave at 5:00 tomorrow, I won't be home till near midnight and I'll be in subways for up to an hour and a half or so.

Used music ap for about 30min (stored music). Turned 4g on and installed a few apps, 1 e-mail syned and viewed a few Engadget.com pages, made about 3 4 min phone calls, and at 85%.

Yesterday, I had 4g on all day (starting at 630am), 2 30min music sessions, 1 mail synced, installed 3-5 apps, and was at 30% at 7pm.

I got on a 6 hour flight with battery in the low 60's and got off with 20's, keep I'm mind it was intense usage and playing music and games the whole time. On a average day it holds up pretty well. Nothing impressive though.

I've been through about 5 full charge/discharge cycles and had the phone at work for the first time today. "All carriers" have weak signal in my building, but T-Mo has the best, where my Sensation and Defy can manage to stay between -93dBm and -105dBm...poor enough to have accelerated battery drain compared to when at my house where both phones stay in the -51dBm to -63dBm range (Defy consistently has 5-10 dBm better signal FWIW), and the Defy will go 2-3 days between charges (longer on AT&T's network).

Well after pulling the phone off the charger at 6am, about 20min of Google maps, with traffic going in to work, about 20 minutes of my co-workers playing with phone, (2) POP3 email polling every hour along with (2) IMAP accounts, weather polling every hour and about a dozen or so 1-2 minute calls, my battery was only down to 75% by 4:45pm (per the built-in "Battery Info" app, shortcut created by Any Cut). I used Google Maps again on the way home for a solid hour, again with traffic, and battery was down to 57%. Bluetooth was on for the full 3 hour of my commmtue as well.

That's about my normal use for the phone, with the addition of checking a few stock quotes and forum browsing for about 1/2 an hour...I'd say the battery was good for 24-36 hours of "my normal use".
