Kinda busted camera button.

Should I take it back to VZ and see if they will fix it or give me a new phone or just deal with it?

how can anyone answer that? That is totally up to you. You're the one that has to live with it. If it makes you feel any better the DX2 did away with the physical camera button. If you have to have it replaced it's going to cost you an 85$ deductible more than likely. Or worse if they can tell you've taken the case off they may not even help you.

Why were you taking the case off anyways? Just curious.

considering the fact that you took the aftermarket case off and the camera button came out some, its a wonder if its a defect in the actual design for it, but i didnt think the camera button could be pulled out considering it should have brackets holding it down, or preventing it from falling out...

it sounds like its a hardware issue, but if you think you messed it up and you return it, thats on your conscience, or you could do a warranty replacement if you feel you need to

You don't have much to loose by going to a Verizon store, and asking about it. You are not trying to get a replacement for a phone that you purposely/knowingly damaged. And you are not trying to hide something you did to it that caused the problem. Be open with them. My guess is that they will offer to replace it free with a refurbished DX.
