The WD software is designed for Windows (or mac?)
You would have to get an app which would be able to interface with that software..

hmmm, that maybe one angle I've not tought about. Need to look at the specs in more detail and product manual. But I believe that USB 3.0 has been designed to be backward compatible to USB 2.0. I guess that could be one issue...

Does anyone has USB 2.0 pen/HDD that requires password to mount the hidden drive in a PC that can test with Honeycomb to see if they face the same issue???

I appreciate the feedback

I have a "Kangaru" thumbdrive which encrypts the drive. Tried it and it popped up for a fraction of a second in the bottom taskbar then disappeared. didn't even light up the LED on the drive, and never mounted.

The problem with these "encrypted" drives is that they use a PROGRAM which is designed for Windows or Mac to access the information. Until vendors include Android in their programming, they won't work.

Exactly, I use a standard drive that does not encrpt my data and it works just fine because it does not need such a program.
