Help Not enough memory.

I have a problem. I bought a Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 about a month ago. I have some pre-installed applications and also a few which were installed on my own such as Angry Birds. Recently, I tried to install new applications using application installer but there was a problem. The message "Phone memory is not enough" comes out with a button to manage applications. However, my phone still has 70.00 MB left. What is wrong? I would really appreciate all the help given. Thank you.

Thats why I prefer Custom ROM over stock ROM. I've face the same prob too before. I need 140MB to install StarPagga, which the apk is only < 30MB.
