Help Red Triangle with Exclamation Point

I turned my phone off this morning and then turned it back on a couple of minutes later. Unfortunately, when I tried to turn it back on all I got was a black screen with a red triangle with an exclamation point in it (I think). At that point, the phone was a brick. I could not turn the phone off or anything.

I tried to remove the cover to pull the battery but I was afraid I was going to break the plastic cover. Is there some trick to getting that damn thing off?

I eventually got it restarted by holding down the power button and hitting the volume up button. No idea why this worked or what it did.

Anyone know why you would get that error or how to properly fix it?

That's Android Recovery (completely normal) and you probably got there by accidently holding the volume key while it was powering up. Don't hold the volume keys while it powers up and it won't happen again. :D

PS, glad you were able to get it up and running again and I apologize that nobody responded to your thread sooner.

Thanks for the response. I am happy to hear that it is not something bad. Oddly enough, with all the complaints about the TB, I have really not had any problems. No restarts, no problems with 4G connectivity, no data loss... so I was really hoping that my problems were not about to start.

Thanks.
