So silly though, dunno why you can't view your homescreen in landscape out the box

Pointless question IMO. There are countless features that one person or another would view as "silly to not include as stock". Development resources are never infinite. Android is highly extensible. If a non-stock app can make your device do what you want then why complain?

Was just saying it is a bit stupid not to include it and have to use another launcher.

What if you like sense and want it in landscape? You can't.

I can. I just open my (landscape) keyboard and the homescreens switch to landscape mode. I cannot do it without opening my keyboard.

Without a slider phone, any default (included) home launcher on ANY android bar phone is not able to used in landscape. An alternative launcher (launcher pro, ADW, etc.) will allow this in settings by forcing the launcher to obey orientation.
