Help in choosing the first Android

After a lot of time with the N97 and a lot of nerves I decided to buy my first Android device.
The first problem is that I replace a device every 3 years.
The second problem is: after hours in Wikipedia, YouTube and reading reviews I really dont know yet what to choose .
The devices I could think of are:
Galaxy s2 - the best but the most expensive 520

Maybe my math is off, but you listed two choices that cost more than the Galaxy S2 where you live. What do you expect a device to do for you? Do you want a long battery life, will you be streaming a lot of music and video, or want an awesome camera? Are you looking forward to video chat, or playing higher quality hd games? You gotta give us something.

"Best" for you will most likely not be best for me. Each phone has it's strong points and weaknesses. If you can give us an idea of what features and functions you use most or expect to use most and what doesn't matter, then we might be able to narrow it down a bit.

You're right about the math case.
Recently, the device was 600euro and now the price dropped to 520euro.

The most important things for me are:

Excellent touch and did not stucking!
and very good Web browsing.

And other things are:
GPS, Games, applications, camera, video, movies, etc..

I DONT have an iPod or something like that then I want the kind of "small portable computer"

Personal opinion htc sensation. But galaxy s2 is a very famous phone at the moment. The difference between the two in terms of gui is htc has htc sense and if I am not mistaken galaxy s2 has touchwiz. Hope this helps

Except how the device feels in your hand.
why I need to preder the sensation instead the galaxy?

you really need to go out and put the devices in your hand.

you really need to see the sensation and htc sense .. very nice!


to be future proof as possible...
3-4 yrs is going to be hard for any device. tech moves way to fast. but.......
you need a device that will have the best aftermarket development support. Manufactures will only support the device for 18 months. then you will need Devs to keep the phone current as possible. with this you will need to get the phone ROOTED.

lookint at activity... you can see which phone manufacture has had more dev support. you can see that HTC phones would have the best luck at keeping you current as possible.
