Root Kmod vs Cm7 06242011

I too am wondering about this. However I recently partitionioned my SD card and am running cm6. When I flash the new Kmod rom, Do I have to repartition the SD card? or will it auto install there? How Do I get rid of my partition if I do want to switch roms and decide to not use partitions at all?

I want to try Kmod, but this partition is the only thing I am worried about.

The partition isn't an issue w/KMOD.It isn't required for it has the stock APPS2SD & it doesn't require it.
No harm if you are partitioned,it will still work.

THere a way to get rid of the partition? and if it is partitioned, will kmod automatically install apps there? or re enter terminal commands from the ascend guide? Thanks for the reply btw Kolio.

Unless you absolutely need the space,I'd just leave the partition in place, its not doing any harm or benefit w/KMOD.

KMOD has the stock APPS2SD, which does not need the partition,& will still work.Stock APPS2SD does not need terminal commands.
I suppose you could try installing DT'S A2SD, I see no reason why you couldn't.

If you format your SDcard, you will delete the partition, but, you'll also lose everything else on the SDcard as well.
So,if that is what you want, back up you SDcard contents to an external source, to be reinstalled after formatting is completed.

When I was using my ascend daily I never had a issue with the alarms not working, so dunno lol.

And far as I know they are working in all builds. First I heard of em not working with the exception of when in standby.
