Help Tested games on the E3D

Ok so I got the phone friday....and some games work fine but others seem to either crash after a few mins or freeze up or not get past the initial black screen....has anyone else had this problem?????? I am hoping it's just that the phone is too new...and both legal and illegal games have been tried for the sake of the argument....


hope someone has some answers!!!.....ok so it seems its the early adoption woes we are seeing...Vanquished had a good idea...lets roll with it...

I have yet to test any Gameloft games as I cant download them cause it tells me the device is invalid...so I will try the 12 or so that I bought once Gameloft gets me valid DL links

First thing I always do after activation is clear the SD card and factory reset the phone. You should see if that resolves your issue.

I tried getting Cordy as well, it crashed badly. Only got past the loading screen once and then it crashed about 10 seconds later.

If you read the comments on the Market Place there are a ton of not only EVO 3D people complaining of crashing in this game, but Sensation users as well.

So I would say bad programming. Not bad hardware.

Thanks for trying it out!! I appreciate it...I also tried a few games on my friends 3VO...it seems like the games dont know what to do with the new snapdragons....I'm ok with that for now its a new chipset and all..hope it gets fixed soon tho....

I can confirm NFS Shift doesn't play on the 3D yet.

Battleheart has issues too. It's a really great game, but it crashes after most levels and usually without saving. Their website mentioned issues with the Sensation that they were "working on." Then today it wasn't in the Market anymore (not even in my downloaded apps) and that remark of working on a fix was removed from their website. Hope they're still working on a fix, but I guess it could be put on the "Doesn't work" list if you want.

I mostly tested non 2d games...as in graphically intense as opposed to Battleheart which is not really 3d in any way shape or form...but I guess ill load up some of the 2d games and update the list in time...

Just tried to buy it about 5 times... all it does is reroute me to the same page every time I fill out the information. Are their servers down today or something?

They shouldn't be...It could be something wrong with the particular site that was created for NOVA.

It seems like they have 10 different people working on the website but don't coordinate anything with each other. One page will show they only have 20 games available for Android while another will say there are 40. The thing that drives me crazy is the fact that the mobile store and the online store are not connected. If you purchase something from the mobile store, it does not show up on the other store, and vice versa.

Seeing as how the games are tied to your phone number and not your device, it seems like making a universal account (like a Google or Amazon account) that shows you everything you have purchased no matter where or how you log into it would save them alot of time and money with customer support.

Give them two to three weeks and I bet a vast majority of the games will be compatible with the E3D.

Another one that came out today was GT Racing, giving it a grand total of 5 (of 36 found here on http://androidforums.com/android-games/325810-gameloft-games-list.html)!

Samurai II: Vengeance was pulled completely from the market for the E3D and the Sensation. Here's the updated product description:

"HTC EVO 3D and Sensation are excluded ! Game is not running properly on them and its not bug in the game. Sorry about it."

If it's not a bug then what is it? I find it hard to believe that it is a hardware problem. What a waste of $3...from what they say in the description it looks like they don't plan on supporting these two devices at all in the future.

wierd but it hasnt frozen on me yet....but i havent played it enough
