Hello,

I have tried to root my phone a few times by using this write up;

How To Root The Casio GzOne Commando | AndroidFC

I have installed Android SDK and after some issues, got that all in okay. Now when I go to use Super One Click, it connects, then the phone tries to go into an MTP mode and the phone disconnects. Very frustrating. How do I disable this? I looked threw the setting and can not find it.

Can you please email me detailed info on how you did this... jordanstrickland@Yahoo.com I can't seem to get it to work and I think I'm doing something wrong

Download the C771 drivers from the drivers thread and install. Connect your C771 by usb and windows will find the drivers and install. You may have to unconnect and reconnect for all to install. In device manager you should see an Android device listed when the drivers are properly installed. Download SuperOneClick and run it and select root. SOC will do the rest.

I've been trying to root this commando and I can't get it done. I'm using windows 7, I installed the drivers from the other page and when I get to SOC it hangs up when it's looking for the device. Then I get the message that SOC is not responding.

Any ideas what's going on? Can McAfee or AVG be screwing something up.

One thing I noticed that really messes up connecting with SOC, is you HAVE to put the phone into the mode "Ask on plug" for USB mode. The pick the one that is just as a storage device, or for the CD card. Without my phone plugged in, I can not remember what it says exactly. That was the biggest issue I was having.It would make it not respond and I would have to end the task.

Hope this helps.
