Help lg ally vibrate stopped working

Sometime yesterday my vibrate stopped working for incoming calls and therefore have missed calls. I've checked sound settings and vibrate is set to always. I've pulled the battery out with no success. Any suggestions other than hard reset.

you might want to do the factory reset, if your rooted you can make a Nandroid first. If is still dosn't work after a reset the motor that makes the phone vibrate may be bad.

I had the motor in mine die a while back. No haptic, no lockscree, calls texts, nothing would vibtate. Take it back to verizon if the factory reset doesnt set you straight. I Got a warranty replacement.

Mine quit working after I dropped my phone from about four feet onto concrete. It landed face first, so I figured I had killed it, or at least smashed the screen. But the only thing affected was the vibration motor. I took the phone apart and played with the spring/contacts on the motor. I stretched the springs on the motor a little bit and cleaned the contacts. Put the phone back together and the vibration has worked ever since. I purchased my phone used and I don't use my phone on Verizon, so I couldn't take it to them for replacement.

Before doing anything like that, just wait a day or two.

Sometimes mine stops vibrating for a few hours or days. Dunno why.

I had the same issue with my phone. The vibrate would quit for a day or two, and then resume as normal. I just waited it out and haven't had the problem in months!
