Help Upgrade to 2.3

Hello all,

I'm still on 2.2 and i can say that I'm not happy at all with it, i just wanted the 2.3 to come and use it, at last it is hear but now KIES says this version of device is not updatable! i uninstalled - re-installed KIES the most updated version still the same.

Galaxy S runing Andorid 2.2
Windows 7 Home premium

this update is not available to all yet, i'm with t-mobile uk and no sign of gingerbread yet.

Same here, no Gingerbread in my region's KIES either. I hope that, when they finally release GB for all, it will be 2.3.4 since I have read around that 2.3.3 has issues with Battery consumption

The upgrade in availabe here, the problem is the upgrage option is not availalbe at all, KIES says "This version of device cannot be updated"

What do you mean, 2.3 upgrade is available to others in your region but not for your phone? Have you downloaded the latest KIES for your region from here http://www.samsung.com/countryselection.do

I live in the U.S. and have US Cellulars Samsung Galaxy S1. Am I able to upgrade to 2.3 or not yet?

I'm from Romania and I haven't seen on Kies Air any update later than 2.2. Waiting to upgrade to Gingerbread for a while now but no luck. And I'd like to keep the original files, I don't want to root it.

I just rang my nearest Samsung Repair Centre about a crack in the glass on my phone and was told Gingerbread will be released in Australia very soon, hanging out for it!!
