Just started "Far From the Madding Crowd" by Hardy. So far I like it, but on these audio books it makes a difference who is reading it.
Has anyone else read "The Faithful Spy" by Alex Berenson? I think it would make a good movie, but can't decide who should play the main character. Clooney?
its true about the order of the books being completely off. I got all the way up through the second waylander book and was kind of pissed off at the jumping back and forth through time so I looked up the wiki on gemmell and found a chronilogical order to the books vs the published order and started reading them that way. much less frustrating that way.
currently reading book 7 of the drenai i think, legend of deathwalker.
Started the Night Angel trilogy. It took me about 10 chapters (short as they are) to get used to the writing style and the setting but now I'm calibrated I'm beginning to get drawn in to the story.

Yeah that was an amazing world and amazing characters.
I spelled it wrong, its Malazan, book of the fallen, and its written by Steven Erikson. First book so far is pretty slow to get into for me, I've heard book one was like this and the other books are much easier to read, lol...

I haven't read the it myself, but Malazan, Book of the Fallen has this weird forum where people post short stories and I think it's got something to do with the books.
