Hey guys, I just got an email from Toshiba for their Thrive Tablet. Guess what...runs on NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core. Does this mean you wizards with roms that you will just be able to copy their Honeycomb software rom to the gtab with a few tweaks??? Comes out July 11th.

Clueless wonder here asking the question.

Honeycomb ROMS have been available for the G-Tablet for several weeks now. It's just an issue of figuring out which bootloader you're working with. I've been running the GTabComb version for a couple of weeks with no real problems so far.

On top of that, it is worth noting that so far, (at least to my knowledge), all the HC-based tablets on the market are based around the Tegra2 processor set.

The problem is that there are two development branches of the tegra2. All of the current HC devices have the ventana version while we are stuck with the harmony version. This is why we are having issues with drivers, as nvidea has not (and probably will not) released anything for the harmony based chipset.

That is what I was wondering.....know software is dependent on chipset, and you answered the question. I did not know what ver we were on. Does make things interesting though, as I know we have some smart folks out there who can figure this prob out.
