I'm trying to set up my new Transformer and I noticed the Facebook app is not installed. I searched the market for it and found over 7000 results but none that are actually Facebook.

When I browse to Welcome to Facebook - Log In, Sign Up or Learn More on the browser there is a link down the bottom that says download Facebook for your Samsung Galaxy Tab (odd) and when I click that it loads Facebook in the App Store. unfortunately when I click install it says App Not Found.

Anyone else have this issue; workaround?

push it from Market: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.facebook.katana&feature=search_result

that said, I prefer using facebook through the desktop version of the browser, as it has more functions (as if you're using it from a regular browser on a PC). to change your browser to behave in a desktop way (rather than mobile), go to the menu button at the top right, then settings, Advanced, then 'user agent settings', and change it to desktop. Don't be fooled by the option for 'tablet', as most websites simply give you the mobile phone version when they see it, which generally sucks when you have a bigger screen.
