Help 3d movies?

Most of my life I've always been about entertainment. And with the revitalization of the 3D format, I'm all for anything 3D, hence the 3DVO. But like yourself, I've been wondering if there's anywhere I can purchase 3D movies directly to my phone. Blockbuster and Netflix don't offer much. So the only thing I can think of is buying the actual blu-rays that have digital copies, then transfer them to the 3DVO.

I'm assuming that was Radio Shack? Did mine at Sprint they are offering $150 buy back on EVO. They taped mine inside the box when they swapped it out.

If you're saying that they swapped the old and new 8 GB cards, you got ripped off. The new card is class 4 not class 2 and there was no requirement for that on the $150 deal (that you can get as sell-back on the Sprint website) . I'd complain to the highest level until resolved.

Sincerest apologies - search failure when I posted that. I found the error and corrected on edit the thread with the download, above, within the hour, and regret I'd not gotten it right in the first place. (Link with our site user is above in that post.)

Here's the link again with the specific post. Note they're kinda tricky about where they (Sprint/HTC) placed the GH movie file, so follow the XDA info carefully.

Stock Evo 3d SD Card Contents *.zip *Now LIVE* - xda-developers

Because XDA recommends a reformat and because our users here did that, best to back up your SD card to your PC, follow the above, then move back anything you care about.

I copied the files to the root of my sd. I didnt format my sd cuz i have too much info on it. Anyways during the copy it said .data already exists on my sd card and asked me if i wanted to merge them. I clicked skip cuz i didnt want to cause problems. Green hornet doesnt play . What do I do to get the movie to play on my 3d?

I went ahead and merged the files. The movie plays! doesnt look 3d though.

I would try a Reboot of the phone. It helps some people when the movie is only playing in 2D. http://androidforums.com/htc-evo-3d/360308-green-hornet-movie-question-2.html#post2876915(Read through this thread for more tips on getting it back to 3D)

If that does not fix it then try a battery pull. Power down and take the battery out for 'exactly 61 seconds' (ha ha stole that joke from someone around here). http://androidforums.com/htc-evo-3d/363802-green-hornet-not-playing-3d.html

One last thing to try, after you reboot, connect to the internet and check for a software update. Go to Settings -> System Updates -> HTC Software Update. If it says you are up to date then go open HTC Watch, and see if a prompt for an update pops up for it. If there is no update pop up then proceed to try and watch the movie again and see if it is in 3D yet.
