I have a Droid Charge and noticed when I stream with stock player to my car it does not show any track info, yet with a Droid X2 it shows all the ID tag info on the car screen. I assume this is a function of the stock player? If so are do any of the better players out there stream all the tag info via BT?

I had same issue with Charge and was never able to get it to work and tried a few other player. Switched to RAZR MAXX and it works fine, although I noticed that if I use PowerAmp I don't get track info any more. Bummer!

I'm not an expert on this, but I have read that Samsung's music player has its own proprietary way of managing playlists and tag info which causes problems when trying to import songs from other players or streaming bluetooth. Again, it seems Samsung thinks they know best. I have always had problems with playlists and albums showing up with all songs in reverse order when importing them from iTunes or the Amazon Cloud. I've given up trying to get the song info to stream to my car either over Bluetooth or even with a direct USB connection (which my car has). Needless to say, my iPod does everything perfectly (which is also irritating just because it works!). I've even tried other music players on the Charge (like WinAmp) but the info is still either messed up or not there. Thanks, Samsung!
