is thunderbolt MHL equipped?

Does anyone know if the Tbolt is MHL equipped? I ask because I read about a MHL cable which goes from micro-usb to HDMI, and it would be cool if this was compatible with the Tbolt.

I don't think so but this vendor is nonetheless selling this specifically for the ThunderBolt. You could contact the vendor and inquire about their return policy.

Instead of going to accessorywiz.com, you could always go to Monoprice to buy a cable: Video Cables - Micro-HDMI/HDMI

You'll save yourself a ton of money and have a great quality product.

I'm on the phone with HTC right now, I'll ask them about the MHL part and report back.

The answer that I received is, NO. Apparently the HTC EVO is only equipped with this option at the moment. This isn't according to the representative a hardware issue, rather a software one. So perhaps it could be MHL capable in the future.

Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and to Wanderlusterer for asking HTC. I was hoping that I could stream netflix to my tv over HDMI... oh well, maybe HTC will enable it at some point

True, but it might be more interesting to find out why they are specifically advertising their cable for the ThunderBolt and then get them to retract their false advertising.

You know what, I don't really care. Most likely, they're not lying, but cleverly wording the text. What would be really interesting to me is, if everyone would band together and force HTC to fix its product before letting more of the same being sold to the public.
