Iconia and office editor out of the box

i am seriously thinking to go for an android tablet for some times now. the choice has come down to Asus Transformer and Iconia A500 (with a little inclination to the later for capabilities without the need to dock) . The main uses of the tab will be browsing, reading ebooks, PDFs and office documents (with editing many a times). I really need to know whether Iconia tab has got any Office document editor out of the box like my Samsung galaxy S do. for me it will be a deal breaker. and at the same time i need to know whether it is possible to teether edge/3g from galaxy s with help of PDA net in both of the devices?

The Acer Iconia Tab A500 comes with the main app of DocumentsToGo. You still have to buy the unlock key app from the market to take full advantage of the app (such as creating new word, excel, and powerpoint docs). Keep in mind this app is not a replacement app for M$ Office. It is merely a smartphone/tablet app that is compatible with Office. It is missing a lot of features and functionality. Hope thia helps.

Off course it does help a lot. but still question remains whether i can see the office docs and edit at minimum (say just some words...no format things) to the existing docs without unlocking. problem is no online payment procedure exists in my country at this moment.
BTW thank you very much for helping.

still looking for the answer of second question.

Sorry. I missed the second question. I believe that would be determined by the carrier of your phone. I cannot use my Samsung Captivate tethered to my Iconia Tab without buying a tethering plan from AT&T. So you should be able to tether from your phone (assumed wirelessly) but it might cost you extra from your carrier.
