Will there be a keyboard?

Has there been a phone with a 4.3" screen that has a keyboard yet? I don't think there has been one. I would NOT be willing to sacrifice screen area for a keyboard, in fact even if there were I wouldn't buy if it had a keyboard.

There are some really hot single core processors out there now. Much better than the generations we got last year. I still think they will be left behind as the developers start to create applications specifically for Dual Core.

Other carriers have QWERTY slider phones that are basically the same size as the Evo 3D... I don't know why anyone would NOT want that... doesn't make it much bigger because they can stuff some of the electronics in that section, making the screen portion smaller.

Even if you don't use the keyboard, it's not adding much, if any mass, and the one time you want to write an email--you'll be able to. The one thing I can't stand is that the virtual keyboards take up half, or the entire screen depending on your orientation.

As stated earlier it's a matter of PERSONAL taste and opinion. The original sgs2 does NOT have a KB and yet Samsung sold MILLIONS of them despite the fact SOME people think it would be "better" with a KB. I think each carrier will have different phones that will satisfy both sides soon but don't expect the sgs2 to have a KB if they have already been successful worldwide without one

I agree with everyone that says that it's a matter of personal taste and opinion.
For example, my brother loves everything about the Evo, except it didn't have a keyboard, so he went with the Evo Shift.
I really don't care whether a phone has a keyboard or not, as long it doesn't make it to much thicker, and it's sexy, the phone can have a keyboard. :D
But the Within would still be the best phone out there, whether or not it has a keyboard.

I will not buy it if it has a keyboard, I personally don't want a phone with a physical keyboard. I never used it on my G1, and I still even had some problems with it. There are more loose parts to break on a phone if they have a slide out keyboard.

The EVO 3D isn't that thick, but if I can have a phone a little thinner like the GS2 without a keyboard that is what I prefer.

But not everyone has my opinion, which is why I think Android is great, there are a lot of choices. I would be thrilled to see Sprint release this phone in two versions to please everyone.
