Also Lightning Bug, kinda stumbled on this one by accident. Sometimes if i just need to listen to some ambient sounds to sleep, this is quick easy fix to do it without having the lag on youtube videos nature sounds. Pretty customizable and u can pay for additional features like some odd sounds like washer dryer birds etc.. comes with a nice beach wallpaper

Thanks for this, I tried it then tried US Newspapers. I like the UI on the US one better, but the magazine choices in World are fantastic. Either has good font on home page, but it's hit or miss on news pages, I guess some sites aren't set up for that (and are hard to read on 3" phone). Hate the ads!

edit: OK I use Bookmarks Tree Manager, decided to just put links in a News folder (or Magazine folder), now they just open directly to my browser. If site has pinch zoom on mobile I leave it, if it doesn't I use normal URL so full page opens (that can zoom). One less app...

World Newspapers ~ misleading app name in it's functionability. Gives the choice to read newspapers all around the globe, your local ones in your town, the national ones like usa today

Also the way the UI is set up kinda hard to read but if you look closely there is a magazine link, I am reading Men's Health and other mags on this thing. Kind of all in one news app for me.

Yeah, i totally agree the ads are pretty bad but i noticed once u actually get to the top of the article, it will let u read without too much interruption. Pretty big names on the mags, now only if they had MAXIM LOL. I will check us newspapers out thx for the heads up.

dailer....best app

Dailer? Don't know it.

I'm a new androidian, but so far my favorite apps:

Tune In radio is fantastic.
Taskos is a pretty good little to do list.
Pageonce keeps the finances in order.
Elixir widgets are good, but seem to eat a little more memory than I'd like to see.
Alarm Clock Plus
I do like DroidIris for some cool pics to use as wallpapers.

No problem, I think I may have made a mistake once.

Watchdog is interesting because it has recently alerted me to two programs that exceeded the set threshold. One was Lookout and was was the Flex T9 Keyboard. Both were just short duration and weren't rogue programs that needed to be shut down, but it's interesting to see what programs use a lot of your CPU that you're not aware of. It also shows what % of your CPU they used.

Another new program I'm liking a lot is True Caller which is a Caller ID app. I can't remember if I saw it here or on one of the other favorite app forums I was looking at. I know there are a lot of others, but this one is working great. It displays caller id even if they're not in your contacts, also displays messages you get, searches names and numbers, updates the addresses in your contacts list, connects your contacts with facebook and has a call filter for spam numbers. Not in the market that I can find, but here's a link, or you can Google it.

Just found a new one. No Root Screenshot It. Does excellent screen shots with my TBolt. It does require some setup on your computer and for Windows, you need to make sure you have the correct updated drivers (HTC Sync) and .net on your computer.

One thing I noticed was that I was charged tax. Is this new, or have I just not been that observant?

Unless you live in like two states in the us you should never be charged tax for digital goods

I've been using Shootme for 6 months, Intercept then Optimus. Even though it says you need Root, it works fine unrooted.
