Any way to permanently decline updating an APP?

I have some APPS that have horrible updates that I don't want. Any way to DECLINE an update permanently other than just NOT updating?

Back them up to your SD Card.

Uninstall them from your phone (not on market...via the menage programs menu in settings)

Reinstall from your SD card.

They will never show up in the market again as update available

Awesome. Then I can just Install and update when I want? How do I back them up to SD card? Sorry. Thanks

I use Astro to back up my apps....just make sure you do it every so often...dont know anyway to automate. You can also use mybackup as welll I believe.

Once you install from your card...the market will no longer notify you of updates...but you can easily update at any time. Just go to the market and download the new version. If you dont like...uninstall and reload the old one from your SD card.

You can also get a program called aTrackdog which will tell you what programs on your phone have updates available on either the market or the developers site.
