Hi,
I have a Desire on vodafone
2.29.405.5.

I tried using the latest unrevoked last night - notes here
------------------------------------------------------------
Downloaded unrevoked - uninstalled HTC sync. Wouldnt install - failed to load user UI error.

Uninstalled every driver related to HTC sync and used the HBOOT driver that unrevoked recommends - now its worse.

Unrevoked wont recognise my phone now

I've the android sdk downloaded and installed - maybe that affected it?
What to do now - manual root?
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Solved i think - delete apps from the phone memory - not the sd card!
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Now im still getting the same 'internal error'?

Any idea's?
Im new to rooting and there seems to be 100s of guides online - each different - some help please?
Thanks!

Have you rebooted your PC since the install?

To install Busybox for Titanium, use the "problems?" button in Ti - that will bring up the option to download it. Don't worry about what the SU app says, just do this and it'll sort it out.

You don't want ROM Manager on your phone. Seriously - it doesn't work well with the Desire, and the reason there is a "do not use ROM Manager" sticky thread in this forum is that prior to that a large number of problems we were seeing were coming from people who were using it.

Ok cyanogen has been on its little blue man screen for 50 minutes now...
How long should it take?

I went into CWM - installed update.zip which contained the lastest cyanogen for HTC desire, then it did its thing for aminute or so. It said flashed successfully, so then i used the track button to reboot...

Been waiting a long time - im guessing this isnt a good sign?

Fooking hell - will this hassle ever end?

Everything was working fine bar the Market - so i tried to clear the cache, stop the market app and reboot...

Now the shagging phone is stuck in the cyanogen blue animation :(
I've no idea where to go from here. Format and re-install again?
Dammit...
