So I read, and I'm sure it is not common knowledge, Verizon's HTC Thunderbolt was built with the mobile hotspot embedded. So this last update was meant more so and built to neutralize that built in function of the device. Showing nothing but greed on Verizon's part. So technically for some or maybe most, this last update is costing you between $20-$30. On top of the so-called $30 unlimited plan(data that is). For those of you begging for the update to appear, just keep in mind what U R gonna lose if you fall victim to this under-handedness. Yes they tell you that your trial will end upon this update. Look what you lose and never got that was promised the device came with. We all know what I mean. This device was built with the Hotspot embedded like Skype was suppose to be. Now you lose your hotspot capability and gain more crap apps from the Big Red Devil. Not to mention the 70-80mbs this update will steal from you. I think I will wait for GB B4 I allow them to load my device with all that BS. This device was hyped to be the Granddaddy of em all, but look the Incredible 2 is getting more love than the Thunderbolt. Hell it is a Thunderbolt minus 4G but for those of you that have no 4G, you have a bigger Dinc 2. I always wondered why devices without the Droid name or brand backing it, were treated like red-headed step children. If most of us hold out on this update then the Big Red Devil will be forced to release GB, in order to cripple the device's hotspot Embedded capabilities. Mad yet?
