Help Switch off soft button lights

I'd also be interested in knowing this. I wanted to put it into home dock mode with the night setting turned on the charge at night, but still be able to see the time if I wake up in the middle of the night...but the 4 buttons are so bright. What's the point of dimming the screen if the bright buttons stay on all night?!?!

I think I've found a solution with an app called Screen Filter.

This app can dim the screen but I leave slider set to 100% so the brightness isn't changed. You just need to untick the option for the soft key back lights.

After you set the app, lock your phone so the screen and lights go off. When you unlock it again the soft key lights should stay off.

Give it a try if you can't find anything better, hopefully it will work for your phone too.

Cool :) Hey, do those lights use much battery power or is it negligible? I might try it just for that!

That worked exactly how you said it would! Thank you. Now I can have a clock at night without being 'blinded' by the soft keys haha

Bucks13 - No problem, glad it worked :)

Komodo - To be honest I have no idea how much battery the lights would drain, although I imagine it would be a very small amount, probably not worth worrying about. I was thinking more along the lines of the lights being distracting / annoying when trying to watch a movie :)
