Help S2 Doesn't awake from sleep?

Hey guys, I've been having a really big problem with my phone recently and its quite annoying.

I've had the phone for around 2 months (I think) and basically when I put it into sleep mode (just pressing the side button on the right), the screen goes black as it should and everything is fine.

When I try to get the phone back on, by pressing any button, the screen stays black.

The only way to get the phone back on is to remove the battery and reload the phone.

This happens often, but also extremely random. I cant see anything that correlates to why it keeps doing this.

I did a test where I called my phone while it was in this stage of blackness on the screen and nothing happened on the S2, but on the land line that i phoned it off, it just kept ringing and ringing then went to voice mail as I never picked it up.

I really cant be bothered getting it repaired but If I have to I will, I am just curious to whether or not I am doing something wrong which is causing this?

Okay, just to be sure I understand... pressing on the Home button or the power button doesn't wake the phone from sleep?

If that's the case, I'd wonder 1st about a third party app problem, and would do a hard reset. After the hard reset, I'd only install an app or two at a time to isolate the problem.

If you're sure it's not a 3rd party app, then you may want to consider exchanging it.

Are you using SetCPU or doing any kind of undervolting?

yes,i'd definitely try a hard reset first.. if u've had the phone for a couple of months, the only thing i can think of is some third party app has messed with ur phone.. try a hard reset.. if that doesnt work, u might as well try getting a replacement.. u could make a backup of ur phone first though, so u can restore it if u get a replacement
