I Want YOUR Opinion!!

What exactly is "rooting" your Droid? I see people talking about having rooted their Droid, but no one ever says what rooting is or why they do it. Can someone please explain?

Well, you start with a glass bottle. You take a paper towel and roll it, then stick it down into the bottle, then allow it to expand. Put your droid between the glass and the paper towel, then fill the jar with dirt. Make sure not to over-water it, or you will kill it.

In all seriousness, though... there are literally hundreds of threads floating around here on how to root and what root is, and every one of them is quite descriptive. Most of them start with the exact same statement you just made, too.

Well Shazam!! You got me! Yes, I should have searched before posting such a ridiculous question.

Also should have expected the answer I got. It was a good one. :D

Tell it to "navigate to x" and it will translate your voice into text, search for the business nearest you matching what you said, navigate you there with turn-by-turn directions announcing street names, then show you a street view of the business when you get close. All with one click and your voice.
