official bionic screen size answer???!!!!!!!!!!!!

does anyone know for sure or at least confident on the screen size of the bionic if it will be 4.3 or 4.5, cause personally i love the 4.3 on my droidx..but played with the infuse 4g and thought the 4.5 was overkill and too big and would just use more battery....the 4.5 could be a deal breaker for me :(

Pretty sure if anyone knew it would be listed in one of these threads. Nobody knows yet your guess is as good as any although it is looking like 4.3 from what people are saying.

I think phones with 4.3 inch screens are about the limit. If a phone has a 4.5 inch screen it'll be more like a small tablet. (Well, maybe not but you get my point)

Looking forward to my first LTE phone, whichever phone that may be.

If made right 4.5 isnt to big. All they have to do is limit the bezel size I mean look at the infuse it is 4.5 but doesnt feel huge(atleast not to me). There is a lot of wasted space on phones on the top and bottom above/below the screen thats why some say 4.3 is the limit. If they would eliminate this then they could easily get a 4.5 screen in the same body as a 4.3 inch phone.

Well, you may be right, but what you say is wasted space needs to be there. The bottom has the microphone and the top has the earpiece, light sensors and FF camera. The side to side edges don't have a lot of wasted space. Also, the phone makers make these phone a small as they can. If you look inside of a smartphone, there is no wasted space.

But, like you say, it's probably possible to make a phone with a 4.5in screen that is just millimeters larger than a 4.3 incher. Also, they're making breakthroughs all the time making things smaller. It's high time for a battery breakthrough!

Patiently/impatiently waiting to get my hads on a bionic to see if I like it.

I know they need space for those but if you look where they put the logos they could easily use that space to increase the screen size and keep the same size overall just move the logo(verizon) to the back or somewhere else.
