Root Anyone on Liquid GB 2.3?

I used to run Liquid when I had my original Droid, It's a great rom, and the dev is always updating and staying on top of things. I would definitely suggest trying this out.
I would......(But my DX is sitting in the desk while my Inc2 is loving CM7 :) )
Definitely surprised to see that Liquid is now on the DX.

there are quite a few roms on the DX now, ever since the 2init we been seeing a wide range of roms come our way

I've been running it since Friday and have had no issues whatsoever. Super fast, no unexpected reboots and the camera pops up instantly. Everything works right out of the box; camera, video, navigation, etc. Battery was draining pretty quickly until I realized I still had the .12 radio. Flashed the .07 and it's leveled out to nearly what it was running Moto's GB. I've ran different themes, changed up the boot animation and haven't had anything negative happen. I don't see myself going to another rom for a while. I highly recommend it, but who the hell am I?

I never had any issues with Apex, either. There were certain functionalities that weren't there that I had become accustomed to on the stock rom that made me go back. I froze all of the bloat and was using the V6 script but it still bogged and had redraws but I lived with it. Now, as you know using CM7, my phone is fast as hell, there aren't any redraws and everything works the way it should. But it all comes down to what works for you and your personal preferences. I've been wanting to jump ship to CM7 but a lot of the stories on the different forums kept me away. When I saw what people were saying about Liquid I said screw it and jumped in and am glad I did.

I think I am going to end up taking the plunge tonight and flashing liquid. Just to be sure, this needs to be flashed over rooted froyo? Since I am currently on stock gb, I will have to sbf to .340 then root and boot into recovery, wipe cache data and davlik, and then just flash the zip off the sd? Do I need to be in clockword recovery or is stock recovery okay? TIA.

Yeah, flash over rooted Froyo. Sbf back to .340, root, go into Clockwork and wipe cache, data and davlik. Then apply the zip while your'e in there, stock recovery won't work. After you boot up make sure you've got the .07 radio not the .12. If you do have the .12 I recommend flashing the .07 in recovery as the .12 ate my battery alive. If you need the .07 let me know and I can PM it to you.

Can you shoot that .07 radio over to me? If I install Liquid while on .12 (which is what I have now) will I still be able to just install the .07 radio zip later if the .12 isn't working for me?
