Help Screen stays on once fully charged

Since getting the CL14 update last weekend, I've noticed an odd quirk. When I plug my phone in to charge, once it reaches full charge, I'm used to seeing the screen come on for a few seconds showing "Fully Charged." But since the update, the screen never turns back off. I can plug it in overnight, and in the morning, the screen is on, sitting there displaying "Fully Charged."

Can I fix this?

I was wondering the same thing.....I charge at bedtime & althouigh fully charged in the morning the screen is lit up also...shouldn't it be dimmed?
i also have this problem, using CL14 update with Ze9.2 custom kernel. I have mine set to leave the screen on when charging, home->menu->settings->applications->development->stay awake, but if i hit the end (sleep) button it turns the screen off while charging.
when it reaches full charge, i know it sends a notification which turns the screen on. upon reaching full charge and turning the screen on, mine has never then timed out and turned the screen off, but i assumed it was because i had it set to leave screen on when charging...maybe toggling the stay awake setting would change this?
i just got in the habit of turning my phone over, screen facing down, when charging at night so it doesnt light up and wake me.

If you have it set to stay on when charging it will stay on if it is plugged in whether it has a full charge or not. I did some testing of this a while back. You would have to change that setting. Or turn your phone over. Otherwise I set it up as uncheck stay on if charging and the screen time out to 1 minute for what I usually use on the phone.

i think the phone detects a change of state when it's fully charged that turns the screen on, so you have to hit the sleep (end) button again. i had this issue before all the updates / kernels.

for everyone else, make sure that:

home>menu>settings>applications>development>stay awake is unchecked. if it isn't... not sure what else there is...

it will be off...phone is NEVER lit up when i wake up in the morning...use to be until "stay awake" was unchecked...seems pretty straight forward. lol

Sounds easy....my phone has had this setting turned off.....

I now have had the update and done several charges with no problem.

Last night almost 48 hours later....I put my phone on charge....the light came on....push button....light goes off.....light comes one......push button..light goes off....light comes one.....push button....light goes off.

Middle of the night I wake up and can see a light in the kitchen.....the light was on...push button....light goes off....push button....light goes off....power down.

We will see tonight...and yes that setting is still off

i had a similar issue when i had 'use wireless networks' to detect my location... i just unchecked the aGPS.

I also had this (phone screen lights up after pressing end to sleep) occur the other day. the only thing I had done differently was use Movies(Flixster) to test the rating option. After I used it the phone would wake from sleep even after pressing the button to make it sleep. I powercycled the phone and it was fine. i believe the aGPS was also what caused it. I changed the option to a zipcode from near me. Hasn't happened yet since.

SOLUTION
I have googled this to death and came up emty ... unless you are developer or coputer geek.
The solution is: App called Timeriffic :D
Easy to use, and you create profile that f.ex. shuts down notification sounds from 23:00 to 6:00, lower ringtone, disable vibration and all the stuff you like to edit.
Then f.ex. at 6:00 you enable ringtone 100%, notification tone 100%, vibration and stuff you disabled over the night
Excelent stuff !!!!!!!!

And you were so excited that you went out and joined android forums just so you could pimp your app right?

4 posts, all copy/paste. I think I'll pass...
