Help Scheduling app

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I cant find anything using a search, so fingers crossed!!

I need an app to turn off wifi and bluetooth on a schedule, to help my battery life. When in the office I don't need wifi or BT, but when I get back to the car I need BT, and when home wifi. Mon-Fri the schedule is more or less the same, so is there something that will do this. Say at 7am shut down wifi and BT, then at 4pm start BT up again, and at 6pm start wifi??

Hi and welcome to the forum.

What you need/are after is Tasker. You can find this on the Market or download it from the devs website... if you download it from the devs website, you get a week long trial... it is well worth doing that, as Tasker is a complicated app and can take a little getting used to!

Y5 battery save is excellent for wifi, it detects where you normally use your wifi and only activates it there.

There are lots of apps for scheduling the most popular is Tasker

Thanks chaps, will look into them. Just found the useful apps thread, and see its in there as well. Might give it a download and try it, from the developer obviously

No problemo mate... like I say... well worth getting from the dev's site... gives you a week to play around with it the, should you decide you want it, you can get it through his website too... it's cheaper if you get it direct from him (not that it's expensive from the markey), as he doesn't have to pay google any fees... it also updates the same as the version from the market - get me... anyone would think that I was getting commission!! (I'm not though!)
