Verizon PLEASE!!!!!!

Verizon here is my request.

Please release an Android phone with the following specs (minimum)

Manufacturer - I don't care as long as it is solid (like the iPhone) with good fit and finish.

Specs.

Dual core 1.4 (at least if not a better chip set) processors

32 Gb on board storage (partitioned) 32 GB class 6 SD card included (hot swapable)

World phone (sim)

4 to 4.5 inches super AMOLED plus / retina display or equivalent screen made of Gorilla Glass and with an oleo phobic coating.

a good quality speaker/s for media and speaker phone as well as a decent ear piece.

Front facing camera of 3 mega pixels (for those who need it)

Rear camera 12+ mega pixel with a decent sensor and flash. Capable of true 1080 dpi video recording as well as software for editing.

DLNA as well as HDMI out

3 noise cancelling mics

NFC

Stock with inductive charging back and mat

Here is where I make some people mad- 3G is fine by me! If it is 4G give us a stock widget to disable it when needed.

NO BLOATWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE LATEST VERSION OF ANDROID........VANILLA!!!!!!

Finally a 2300 mAh battery minimum!!!!!! I know they can be made fairly thin!!!! don't lie to me :)

Let the criticism begin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I may have missed somethings feel free to add them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed should be in the Verizon section. If this is how charge owners act I am very glad I chose the better LTE phone :D

lol. I had the Thunderbolt. Not a bad device but HTC really needs to start putting real batteries in their devices as well as speakers that don't sound so tinny (if that's a word) lol

Agreed 100% the external speaker behind the kickstand is a joke and I would have gladly had a slightly thicker phone for a larger battery.

So besides all the crying about where this thread is :p Anything to add? :)

The phone you described would be awesome but it would be very unlikely that it will ever be here. You may get dual core, world phone, a decent screen (maybe not to your specs), decent speakers. I can see DLNA and HDMI out. If google has it's way then NFC will be there.

Internal memory is unlikely, I doubt a class 6 32 gb SD will ever be included with a phone. FFC might happen, the rear camera will be hard to find, I think tmo is going to be releasing a photographer's phone in the near future with a good rear camera. Mics may or may not happen.

I've read different things about inductive charging so it is a crapshoot currently. I can see larger batteries in the future with the drain of LTE, and the widget would be a must have.

Now wanting vanilla android, not going to happen on VZW, imagine how much that would irk Apple and we all know how much VZW likes Apple, but as long as a root exploit is found then the removal of bloatware would go hand in hand.

make it free. It should cook me breakfast in the morning and have a dedicated hardware button to spawn unicorns

So I own a cellular store and I am an admitted phone junkie.

I make a post that I feel is a decent expectation of today's tech for the money we pay for service and devices and this is the response I get.

LOL

I pretty much agree with you. That's why this is a wish list. but as you pointed out, a lot of it is possible or is possible to come close to.

As for the bloatware Verizon T-mo and Crap T&T have released phones where you can remove at least some of the carriers trash.

Yeah, I still say it just needs to be rootable, then you would have much more control of the phone itself. I could easily see all the features you requested in phones within the next 2 years but all in 1 phone is doubtful.

Also I would think the only pure vanilla android phones in the future will be the nexus brand phones, it is rumored the next one will be released later this year with an LTE radio, the catch is the roll out of it should be around the same time of AT&Ts mass rollout of their LTE network. If you are in an area to get their network it should work better than VZW's the technology is going to be more up to date compared to VZW's, yes not all LTE is made the same. So it is expected that Google with partner with AT&T for the next nexus phone and VZW will be keep the bloat and the droid brand.

LOL. Did you really expect people to take your wish list seriously? Besides, those are pretty high expectations.

I would expect no less on the interwebs lol ;)

High expectations yes but tech moves sooooooooooo fast and like I said we pay a lot for devices and service so I think we deserve a decent device

I am sorry but that just made me laugh. To get all that in one phone, you would need to carry around a brick. The minimum size of the phone for all 5 inchs long, 3.5 inch wide, and at least 1 inch thick.

To top it off, even with the 2300 mah battery, it would have worst battery life then any phone on the market. It would also cost about 700 dollars retail.

IF you need all that, maybe you should get a tablet.

I really don't think it would be much if any bigger than the Infuse just a bit thicker at worst almost the size of the Streak.

As for the retail price.... I remember paying more than that for the first iPhone and current 32GB iPhones are close to that price. There are a few unlocked phones that run in that price neighborhood.

As far as the battery there is no way it would be the worst on the market! I would bet it would get a day at least on one charge. In any event it couldn't be any worse than the Thunder Bolt's battery life out of the box.

but thanks for the input! :)

Also, since when is an inch thick considered a brick?!?!?!?!? Are we that weak and lazy, it's an inch!! lol
