Car charger for Dinc2?

Looking for the best, most reliable/long lasting car charger for my Dinc2.

The non-verizon offerings are a fraction of the cost of the verizon model, but either way, i'm looking for reliability/functionality, and build quality, etc.

If the consensus is to go with the verizon unit, no prob...otherwise, any other models to consider?

I would go with an OEM model. They can be found on ebay pretty cheap.

well, there's a bazillion different units on ebay...and elsewhere...so wondering which one people have experienced reliability with?

the first aftermarket car charger i got for my eris a few years back was garbage....and so was the second. i finally went with the verizon branded unit, and it was super. but maybe someone here knows of a non verizon branded unit that is good for the Dinc2, as again, many of them are a quarter of the price of the name brand.

I'm using the retractable charger. I like it because you only have as much cord as you need without extra cord getting in the way.

My post was one line wrong, I can't comprehend you missed what I said. I said an OEM one. You cant go wrong with OEM, it's just they cost too much in stores.

no mis-comprehension (i don't think! lol); there are several 'OEM' offerings online, all from different sources, and all 'look' different....hence my question.

(and IF they're ALL alike, i'm mis-comprehending the ebay ads....not your response. apologies otherwise.)

I've been using this for a couple months now with no issues. It's nice being able to retract the cable in when you don't need it.

I went the cheap route with the first car charger for my Inc2, and what a joke....that thing was total junk. I didn't have it a week before I scrapped it and went with the OEM Verizon-branded charger in your first link (with the additional USB port in it). It's like night and day....this Verizon one works like a charm.

Interesting, well I got mine here:

It was claimed to be OEM from a seller with a ton of feedback so I didn't really do any looking around. So far it seems to be working just fine and great build quality.
