Help cant receive all txt msgs

Hello guys someone please help all most all of my texts msgs i receive except the occasional 1 with downloading displayed and nothing ever downloads. What can I do to get the msg because ever time I click on download a multimedia msg appears. Help!!

Hello BishopXr8ted. Welcome to Android Forums.

It might be time for you to clear out your text message cache. When in the texting app (assuming you're using the stock app and not Chomp or Handcent), hit "menu" then look for the option to delete texts. Also, take a look at how many texts you're allowing as the maximum.. 200 is the default, but some users change that to several hundred, which is ill advised.

It's not a bad idea to clean out the whole phone once you start seeing any sort of partial or no downloads, slowdowns etc. The application manager has provisions for doing that (main menu > settings > applications > manage applications).. just hit each app on the list and then clear cache then reboot the device once done.
