Help camera auto focus

ive tried searching but didnt see anything. i really want the droid 3 and love the quality of the video except the annoying auto focus. is it possible to turn the autofocus off or adjust the sensativity?

Okay, allow me to make a couple of things clear:

1. Posting a question does not entitle you to a reply. Other members will post as time and knowledge allows. Pointless "bumping" does nothing but demonstrate impatience.

i apologize. i just really want to get this phone and the autofocus issue is one of the few things holding me back. im just very eager to find out. so i am sorry for being very impaitent and i hope someone with a few spare minutes could help out a fellow android user. thanks.

Are you talking about the auto focus that seems to make everything blue that you can change to different settings like portrait, landscape, etc.. or are you talking about the fact that it focuses on its own?

He's talking about focus in video. I looked and can't find anyway to turn off auto focus in video. I've only taken one video and didn't experience the problem reported. It was a clean, uninterrupted video but it wasn't in a dark night club.
