Help In Call Volume

Hi I have recently replaced my front speaker and I can now successfully hear music, However when in call the volume barely works the person on the other side needs to shout for me to hear them even the slightest. Has anyone else had the same problem after replacing a speaker ?

I have tried using a volume booster and factory resetting the phone but neither helped.

Does anyone know if in call volume comes out of the same speaker as media ?

With no earphones connected music, video etc outputs via the external loudspeaker on the rear. Normal phone calls are routed via the front earpiece unless using the speakerphone feature.

are you sure because when i play music it comes out of the front speaker, and before i replaced the speaker, the only sound i could get from the alarm from the rear.

If the sound does come from the front speaker why can i hear media from this speaker but not calls ?

Quite certain. The stock Music app, Winamp and the Planet Rock app defintely output via the rear speaker; not only can I hear it clearly, putting my finger over the grill muffles the sound drastically.

just checked on my phone music is coming out of both front and back, but still no sound during phone calls
