Hi all,in trouble here, did a nandroid backup,it got nearly finished but said error not enough space on sd card and kept rebooting itself ,eventually it loaded, and now there is nothing on the sd card at all,had leedroid on,(but didnt do a backup :( so any thing Leedroid requires for boot has gone) the phone does not recognise the sd card anymore, worryingly have put in 3 different types of sd card and phone does not see them at all to format ,tried pc to format but its like theres no card in phone, plus now the phone doesnt have a signal,at a loss at mo,

thats a usb brick by the seems of things
bit of a pain in the ass tbh as there are as series of commands you will need to go to get it back

if i remember rightly you are on o2?
and recovery are you using amonRA or CWM?

if you follow this guide
http://androidforums.com/desire-tips-tricks/365476-guide-usb-brick-fix.html

you do not need to do the visionary bit as you are already rooted
you just need to put the files in the correct folder and follow the instructions to flash it.

ok have downloaded sdk tools, android usb driver, still no luck with recognising usb,one thing on the phone in bootloader when i go to enable USB-MS it says enabling and hangs,i cant return to bootloader without diabling the USB-MS ,also the phone just keeps rebooting all the time,

Ahh you are not in fastboot. If there is an option to mount mass storage you are in recovery. You cannot mount USB Ms as the sdcard functionality needs to be enabled by the fastboot command in that guide.
If you downloaded the drivers from the dropbox then once you connect the phone to the computer you will need to open up device manager (right click my computer, click manage) then update driver select from list, select have disk, click browse and choose the driver. Accept any warning and then fasboot should work.

yeah everything on that card is wiped mate, theres no recoverying that.
what we have to do is fix the usb brick so if you managed to do the 1st part so the sdcard can now be accessed by the phone you are a step closer
you will need to use a card reader to get those files on the sdcard
you will need a tool like rootexplorer to copy the files from the sdcard to the right directories

EDIT: did you do the fastboot command or are you still having problems with drivers?

Is their a default folder setting for Leedroid i can download so that at least the phone can reboot correctly once i can fix the sd reading problem on the card?

no. its probably looking for an ext partition which would need to be partitioned again via amonRA like you did last time. problem is that without doing the fastboot command you will not be able to format and partition it from recovery

hmmm, theres something not right about that. the usb is bricked so it wont show in explorer
that command displayed that then you should now be able to use rootexplorer in the phone to access the sdcard.
you will need a card reader to put the files you need on the sdcard
root explorer is the best app but its a pay for app

are you able to get into android?
ive seen that qualcomm CDMA TECHNOLOGIESMSM before, cant remember what that means

YES!!!

this is exactly what we want, this is progress as it means sdcard connectivity is back
you now have to finished the usb brick process on that page

ignore the bit about visionary+

you need to get the files attacked to the 1st post (at the bottom of 1st post) and do what it tells you

because usb is bricked you will need a card reader to put the files in the zip onto the sdcard

ok so you will need to download the attached file from that post linked by me
in there you will find some tools that you need.
the one tool you need is flash_image
to make it easy for you i have a zip file with your mtd0.img as you are on o2

put both the flash_image (from the other zip) and mtd0.img (from my zip) files on your sdcard.
Use root explorer to move them both to data/data
download and install android terminal (its free)
then in android terminal do the folloing
Code:
su
hit return
Code:
[B]/data/data/flash_image misc /data/data/mtd0.img[/B]
hit return

reboot device and you should have usb connectivity
