@MDB228 also posted "@p3droid don't worry I will be along soon to save you...but you may not like my bootloader..."

Looks like it is probably locked, but it also is rumored only to be temporary.

This was the only tweet that confused me. Why on Earth would Moto or Verizon tell people before they bought it that it had a locked bootloader? That's the only thing that makes me doubt the credibility of MDB228.

Still fun to read the tweets though.

Yea, I kinda thought the same, but on the other hand Motorola has been pretty public about the concern over unlocking the bootloader and making a "promise" to unlock them because of the outcries of the people.... maybe they felt the need to address it.

But if it is some goof that thinks they are funny getting people excited, I wouldn't be surprised at that either.

@MDB228 The future will cost you. Take precautions.

Does this mean that the Bionic is going to be the expensive price tag that we saw on the photoshopped Droid Does website?

Now that I think about it, that's probably right.

About the Droid Does website, it is real, just a mock-up pre-release version. Yes it is shopped together, but that's just to act as a guideline for small fixes. I'm sure it's at least half right.

I'm still hoping that they've thrown a 4460 in the Bionic instead of the 4430. A 4430 would be a downgrade from what they had planned in the past. No good.

I have waited long enough to upgrade my OG Droid. I am choosing between the Droid Bionic and the Droid 3. I am wanting the Bionic, but I also am waiting for size specs, because I don't want to be holding a 'tablet' to my ear like the Dell Streak. 4.5 inches is as big as the phone needs to be, but hoping for the 4.3 inch size screen.

I've waited long enough to upgrade my ENV TOUCH. 3 inch screen? I'd be happy as long as it fits in my pocket.

What's funny is that the 3 inch screen packs a WVGA resolution. Amazing pixel density. Too bad it sucks.

Too many negatives in MDB's tweets to be official. Not saying 8/4 is out of the question, but hinting at "not liking bootloader" and being expensive is no way to tease a product in an official capacity.

Just a pumped up future Bionic owner like me!

The last three tweets have not been teasing the product in bad light. Guess we'll have to wait for the phone to come out.

Even the 4430 is still better than tegra 2.
