I have entered the pattern on my orange san francisco wrong too many times and try to get into it by putting in my google email and password but it isnt working help please. I have been to orange and they say to contact google but is there another way to do it as google arent gonna help

if you log onto the gmail account that the phone is registered to, you can change the password there. Then reboot your phone and try to log in using the new password.

One note, sometimes the Password Box on Android wants to auto capitalize the password and if your password uses a lowercase initial letter, make sure you are entering it as a lowercase letter. Passwords are case sensitive.

There is little information about key combinations, but from what I've found if you hold the vol. down key with the phone off and then press the power key, it should boot into recovery.

You should see something like this:

At which point you want to select wipe. I don't know exactly how it's done on the orange, but other phones scroll through the menus by using the vol. up/dn keys and selection is done with the power key (or in the case of my Nexus One, the trackball).

Be advised that this will completely reset the phone back to factory specifications and wipe all data. You will have to reconfigure everything and any messages and mail will be lost.

when i do that all that comes up is a white rectangle with ftm in the middle

Like I said, there was very little information about it. Vol. up + power is supposed to be fastboot mode, you might try that or try both vol. up and vol. down pressed at the same time + the power button.

You may need to take it back to the store and have them reset it for you.

I used this website, and it worked, it was very simple; Free Instant Unlock Codes for Alcatel, Huawei Modems & ZTE Mobile Phones all you need to do is ... type in your IMEI number to *#06# ... then write that in the box that say IMEI, your IMEI number...then insert a NON orange SIM into the phone (whilst the phone is turned of)...on the website, then select order ....turn on the phone, and then enter the eight digit code via the website... or for watch ‪Unlock orange san francisco for free!‬‏ - YouTube

Just for the Forum, see below re pattern locked Blade/OSF:

It's from Stephen Harper, Modaco

Pattern Lock.. Defeated! EDIT: updated with step-by-step instructions.

Step 1. Download the Android SDK (Android SDK | Android Developers)

Step 2. Make sure to configure the ADB usb interface drivers (search the forums for more information on this if you're confused.)

Step 3. Plug your G1 into your computer (via usb). (Settings -> Application -> Development -> USB Debugging, must be enabled [it is enabled by default in JesusFreke releases i think])

Step 4. Open command prompt and enter the following:
Code:
> adb -d shell
# sqlite3 data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases/settings.db
sqlite> update system set value=0 where name='lock_pattern_autolock';
sqlite> .exit
# exit

Step 5. Now power off the phone, and turn it back on. Tada! No more pattern lock.

====================================================================

Also you could try this

The solution is:
enter correct email address
enter "null" (without quotation marks) as password......null

You are then prompted to enter a new pattern twice and then you are into our phone without factory reset etc. No data loss.

Hope this helps.......:D

I just spoke to zte
they said this:

The only thing to do is a factory reset.

take out your sim card.Put battery back in and power on

press emergency call.

type in *983*987# (don't leave any spaces)

that brings up the "erase everything" screen

press "erase everything" then wait

Wait for the orange logo to disappear then your phone is as new again. Simple!

You will lose everything on the phone, but at least you can use your phone again! :D

And yes, it works.
