Incredible 2 was nice at first

I tried the HTC Incredible 2 was nice at first but started to get real slow, data signal was -91 to -120 and zero at times. VZW tech had me check and change some settings, had me run a speed test, it was 96Kbps, he said it should be around 400. They sent a NEW DX 2, so far so good. If this one causes problems I think I'll just go back to a land line:eek:

Meh... different phone, different problems, same aggro. A friend bought a DX2 from Costco and, for the most part, it works as well as the DINC2, but he has occasional problems (under Froyo, not GB), I have occasional problems. The truth, it seems to me, is that we're all doing late stage beta testing on these phones. Like most betas, most of the time it's production grade stuff. Occasionally... not so much.

Man that was quick. Was GB installed on it when you received it? The only issue that I have is the vanishing alarm clock. I downloaded an App to replace though. I think GB is the common theme for all of the bugs across these phones. Are you sure that you want to try the DX2?? Good luck.

It came with Froyo, but updated to GB. I have used Moto for years, so yes I do want to give the DX2 a try. This is a NEW DX2, not a refurb.:)

Actually, all the phone bugs that I was dealing with were in the Froyo OS and Gingerbread has fixed them all.[/QUOTE]

I did not have any bugs on the DINC2 until I got GB. I now have the alarm clock bug. With the DX it seems that GB created more bugs also.
