When i charge my HTC Desire the device became heated, while it is charging i was playing a game and suddenly it shut down and i couldnt start it again. I can only see green HTC logo on white screen as in normal opening but booting is not going on. Recovery can not run either. when i boot device with Vol+power and recovery, recovery starts with green HTC logo on white screen but it stucks there. So i can not run recovery to re-install, etc... Can you please help me if you have any idea?
Thanks.

I tried but same green HTC on white screen. it stucks there.

its clearly a software issue caused by a hardware issue. You need to return it to the stock RUU (the one that came on your phone) and send it back to HTC

How can i return to the stock RUU. I can not also see the drive. It has been long time i root and install Leedroid. I can not remember some of the parts to boot etc.

Thks.

if it starts up with you holding volume key down and power up and comes up with htc logo means its not held down right shouldnt see that screen try this

If you cannot turn on your phone or access the phone settings, you can still perform a factory reset by using the buttons on the phone.
  1. With the phone turned off, press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button, and then briefly press the POWER button.
  2. Wait for the screen with the three android images to appear, and then release the VOLUME DOWN button..
  3. Press VOLUME DOWN to select CLEAR STORAGE, and then press POWER.
  4. Press VOLUME UP to start the factory reset.
  5. thisd means phone data will be gone so be on your guard
also remember volume down first ...power button held in for at least 4 to 5 seconds dependin how fast it boots then relase power button keep holding voulme down key till androids are there

Done. But doesn't work. That just erased personel data. In order to factory reset i need to enter recovery. But when i go recovery it stucks with green htc logo. Do you think that unrooting may work?

It's the only way now. Download the correct RUU using the software version number you took from your stock Rom before rooting. They can all be found under the bravo section of shipped-roms.com.

The RUU is an exe you run from pc. You can run from fastboot bu holding back and power from off

Thanks alot for your support and concern. i applied the process below link for root. That fortunately worked. I only lost my personel setting due to clear storage but that is nothing beside i have my phone with all apps again.
