Help I'm not sure where to put the music

When I mount the connection between the Mesmerize and my computer I'm not sure which file to put the music in.

Android will scan the entire sd card for media, so it really doesn't matter, but keep things organized so your phone doesn't become the wild west of files. I created a folder called music and put them in folders like iTunes .... /music/artist/album/tracks.mp3

I'm talking about when I transfer music from my computer to my phone. I guess I'm not sure I know how to do this.

So was I. Plug your phone into your PC using the USB cable and mount it as USB storage. The phone's removable storage card or partition will open on the PC just like a flash drive. Copy the files there.

If you don't have a folder named "music" or "my music" on your phone, make one. Then transfer the files to that folder.

How about "iMusic?" Don't understand what iMusic is. I hope it's not accociated to iPhones. It's the only file that doesn't have anything in it so far. I guess I can rename it to My Music?

folders that you did not specifically create on your sd card are most likely created by an app for its own use. If you don't have a folder named "my music" and you'd like one, don't rename an existing folder, create a new one. Then copy all your music there.

Thanks for the input. I looked closely at the folder labeled iMusic and there was nothing there so I went ahead and renamed it "My Music". It work fine after loading some music.
