For years I have used a freeware Tide Tool for tides on my Palm PDA. Has anyone found such a program/ app for Droid?

I loved Tide Tool, too, did you have any luck findinga replacement? Walt hasn't updated his page since 2009, I don't think we'll see anything from him, unfortunately. I used it for watching the tides on the North River nearby, for canoeing and kayaking.
