Bluetooth Dongle on 10.2" Andriod 2.2 Flytouch 3 Tablet

Can anyone please tell me if it is possible to use a USB Bluetooth dongle on this Flytouch? and if so can you please tell me how it is done ?

I use one for my wireless mouse a rocketfish dongle for a rocketfish mouse. I just plugged mine in and the mouse just worked, not setup or anything at all. The wheel works and right mouse and back button.

Its not really my cup of tea so I'm not positive but I think the last thing I heard was that the bluetooth drivers in Tims5a crash the tablet...........

Thats correct...I don't know...that's why I said I wasn't sure. I think Tim is awaiting the arrival of an FT4, which has bluetooth, to see if it's drivers are compatable with the FT3. I don't know of any other firmware that supports bluetooth but like I said...it's not my cup of tea!

your choices of 'other' firmware is quite limited, theres the 'official' firmware , which seems to have stopped development, or S01's firmware, which is AFAIK is based on Tims/Tims is based on......... but without all the extras, like audio optimisation, sdcard mount points etc!!

I use a wireless mouse and keyboard with mine, also; however, they are NOT bluetooth and will only operate the keyboard and mouse that came with the dongle.

I read somewhere the other day that providing the bluetooth pairing has already been set up (on a pc or somewhere) then a bluetooth usb dongle will work in an FT3, but it will not work if the pairing is not set up beforehand.

Yes; it is an RF transceiver that came with the mouse and keyboard. It is a Logitech EX100.
